DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
INTRODUCTION
The Directorate of Information Technology, previously know as LAN/WAN section was established in year 2004, after the successful completion of HEC funded "LAN /WAN Project". To help indicate the full spectrum of its task, the existing LAN/WAN Section was re-designated as “Directorate of Information Technology”, (DIT) in 2006.
Responsibilities & Tasks
This directorate is responsible for the following tasks:- 1. To provide Internet access and other network related services to the university. 2. Network and Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance. 3. Software and Website Maintenance and Up gradation. 4. Faculty Training. 5. Latest IT Certification courses for interested students and professionals. 6. Telecommunication within the University. |
