Network Infrastructure

        The UoB network is equipped with sophisticated network devices and best connectivity technologies available at the time of completion of LAN/WAN Project. A good network must have the ability to evolve and capability to integrate new technologies. Moreover, the network strategies never remain the same. Changes become necessary to keep running the network smoothly.

         Currently more than 600 nodes are connected with our network, which has provided the facilities of Internet, free online journals, libraries, conferencing etc to UoB students and faculty. Video conferencing facility is provided which is facilitating interactive learning, through which lectures are organized in different universities while the students and faculty attend them locally in UoB, with interactive questions and answers sessions.
