Brief History and Purpose of the organization;

                        Pakistan Study Centre, University of Balochistan, Quetta initially started its functioning since 1974. It was 1976 when the Centre was formally established under Pakistan Study Centre, Act No. XXVII of 1976 by the Government of Pakistan in the premises of the University of Balochistan, Quetta. The major objectives of the Centre are:-

         1)         To  Promote  the  National  solidarity, Integration and the unity in accordance  with  the  Ideology  of  Pakistan  among  the people of different regions to study the languages, literature, culture, customs and history of the different regions of the country.

2)        High   level   of  teaching  and  research  activities.

3)        To establish M.A, M.Phil, Ph.D in Pakistan Studies.

4)        To arrange Conferences, Seminars, Symposium and workshops for the             development of teaching and research.

5)         To publish monographs , books and research journals.
