Vision, Mission & Objectives

VISION

Achieving distinction by assurance and enhancement of quality teaching and research in line with international standards.

MISSION

This mission of the QAAD is to bring the University of Balochistan at par with the leading universities at national, regional and global level through execution of programs on quality assurance by sustainable internal and external assessment.

OBJECTIVES
  1. To enhance and safeguard public confidence in the quality and standards of degree awards.
  2. To review the quality standards, teaching, and learning in each subject area.
  3. To develop a qualifications framework that outlines the expected attributes and abilities of holders of various qualifications, including undergraduate and graduates (BS, MS/M.Phil. equivalent and Ph.D.) degrees.
  4. To ensure that the university's quality assurance procedures align with national arrangements for maintaining and improving the quality of higher education.
  5. To ensure the implementation and compliance of the Self-Assessment system as outlined by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
  6. To serve as the university's liaison with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and other national and international experts/institutions on matters directly related to quality assurance.
