ABOUT UNIVERSITY
The University of Balochistan was established in October 1970 through an Ordinance issued by the then Governor Balochistan. It was later formalized through the 1996 Act and unified under the 2022 Universities Act. UoB is the largest general university in the province, offering higher education across Science, Arts, and Humanities disciplines.
Currently, the University has 6 faculties, 52 departments, 6 specialized centers, 57 affiliated colleges, 3 institutes, 4 campuses, and 1 constituent law college.
